1. Appointments* to Council or Committee members cover two calendar years which ends on December 31st of each year.
2. In addition to the Council or Committee members, the CEO (or Executive Director) may attend the meetings. The Council or Committee may request the present of any observers that may be involved in the discussion of the meetings
3. The chairperson of the Council and Committee must be a member of the Council. The Council members are expected to contribute one of more of the following serves to icm.hk:
   • Time and resources
   • Expertise, knowledge or advices
   • Develop, lead and participate in activities of icm.hk
   • Represent icm.hk in promoting high standards in the ethics and practices of marketing
   • Develop long term strategic direction for icm.hk
   • Act as Chairpersons for committees
4. The Committee members are expected to contribute to one of more of the following serves to icm.hk:
   • Time, resources, expertise and knowledge
   • Develop, lead, execute and participate in activities of icm.hk

* All appointments will end in the 2nd calendar year on December 31st irrespective of when the appointments are being made. In other words, for all appointments made on any dates between Jan 1st till December 31st, these appointments will end on the December 31st of the next calendar year.
